My husband and I met on a blind date arranged by a woman who worked in my department.  It was a very long blind date date!  She told me in February that she knew a great guy to introduce to me and after waiting all summer and getting into October and no date, I asked her about this guy and what was taking so long.  Our first date was in October and we were married the following September.  My husband told me later that my co-worker friend had been working on  trying to fix him up with her roommate all that summer!  Be open and patient with blind dates!
